Wondering if anyone has solved this age old problem?!?!
We have a 2 site WAN with over 300 deliveries a month. As in all hospitals I have worked at, Prenatal File management from the various offices is a mess. I was asked to pursue an Electronic Option.
1. Adding a ‘Hold’ visit for Prenatals into Cerner was denied by HIM.
2. Currently pursing using SharePoint to EFax and act as an Electronic file drawer. Although I suspect this will be denied by IT Security.
Wondering if anyone else out there has any ideas? We do have one group that allows residents remote access to print.
Thank you,
