We are using the new Novii monitors and the question came up about charting the correct selection for Monitor Mode. I checked with GE and the new database is shipped with this option:
Monitor Mode- Fetus A
0-External US
1-Internal Scalp Electrode
2-Auscultation/Fetoscope
3-Doppler
4-Telemetry
5-External ECG
We do still use the older Telemetry monitors. I was considering using
4-Telemetry US
5-External ECG or 5-External ECG Wireless
I was wondering if anyone has other selections they are using?
